We can’t teach our children everything — nor should we want to. Focus your attention on those things that are important. Teach them lessons that help them understand the world around them. Teach them lessons that help them deal with the “noise” — television, internet, magazines, other children and adults. Help them create a value system that appreciates inner qualities like honesty, integrity, and helping others, while placing less importance on things like physical beauty and material possessions.
